2008 promises to be a great year in Lakewood for film buffs.
“The Lakewood Film Belt Film Festival†is an emerging indie cultural development upon which to keep our eyes peeled. A Saturday in September at the Detroit Theater is the present hope.
One cult classic under consideration is Ted Sikora’s Hero Tomorrow.

This is fantastic. Very exciting to have something in our backyard and not just our neighbor's (such as the Ohio Independent Film Festival around W. 65th and Detroit Rd.)
Ken, is there anyone to talk to about volunteering to help out? I loved volunteering for the OIFF way back when and would love to do this again closer to home.
Also, saw Hero Tomorrow at the Cleveland International Film Festival and it was pretty cool.
Thanks for the update!
