I wonder if Sens Vitter and Alexander are as adamant against drilling in ANWAR to protect 4 legged creatures or are they only against anything that threatens Big Oil's profits.
To my friends the Bills(s)
As I have said every time you post this to a video of Bald Eagles. I am not a huge fan of wind farms, the technology is more than
5-10 years away at best. And the Bald Eagle has been taken off the endangered species list. Though they do fall under the
"Rapture Act" which only allows "The proud ancestors of the Anasazi" (let's be honest they didn't refer to themselves as Native
Americans) are the only ones legally allowed to hunt them or posses their feathers.
ANWAR, I had the pleasure of working for over a decade with BP America, 5 years in exploration. By the time they can
drill in ANWAR they will have it dry from side drilling it.
Now I don't know much about the oil business or financial futures, but common sense would tell us to cap every well in
America, and buy as much overseas oil as possible. Oil is a finite commodity, the one with the most left IN THE END WINS.
Not the one that got rid of it fastest for the cheapest amount. You want to pass something on to your kids (I have none)
give them trillions from selling off our oil in 40 yearw, when it is $10,000 a barrel. If they do
it right they could pay off the debt we ran up.
But back to eagles, Bald Eagles, that live in Emerald Canyon.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww look.
