Hi all--

Happy New Year.

This meeting is tonight. Sounds like the battle over the Heideloff mansion is continuing. If you click on the PDF in this post there are a lot of interesting documents attached to it that you can read to get the full story.

The other agenda item looks like the Clifton bus shelter enhancement plan, which Lakewood is contributing $50,000 dollars to. Again there is more detailed info in the PDF.

Start the New Year off right, go to a Planning Commission Meeting. Tonight at 7pm at City Hall in the Auditorium with a pre-review meeting at 6:30pm in the Lower Conference Room.

The Planning Commission voted January 3 to defer any decision on the application submitted by Mary Breiner and Jeff Weber seeking designation of the Heideloff House as an historic property to its February meeting. With just four of seven Commission members present, Commission Chair Mark Stockman felt that there were "greater policy issues to discuss" with regard to this matter and that "a deeper discussion with the full Commission at our February meeting would better serve all parties involved."

Among those speaking during the public comment portion of the meeting were:

Jeffrey Weber ....
