Does Our Region Need or Want More Retail?

This morning there was an interesting discussion on the current plan to develop the Oakwood County Club in Cleveland Heights and South Euclid. I think some of the issues that were being discussed our similar to what some of us have been talking about here in Lakewood. The link to the podcast is below and worth the listen.

It is this reason my of the ideas behind the VAL do not hit the "open market." We live in a
desperate county, in a desperate sate, in an ever increasing desperate country. Even with
the cloak of regionalism, we will all need to watch the other as they will take what they
think is good.

Some ideas are best left in the background until...
