Come on Stephen - get with it - the masses are always correct.

Yea we should all trust one person's version over many others

We could all sit here and pull up quotes all night if we had nothing better to do. Kind of like some people I have seen who listen to right wing radio and quote verbatim what the broadcaster spit out. It still means nothing to most at the end of the day.

So what is it exactly that this company of Dick's can do that no other company in the world can do? Not a rhetorical question, just curious. I could google it of course but it sounds like you know everything about them.

whose facts exactly? can't we pull up pages and pages of "facts" that contradict each other? meanwhile we are at war with no "real" end in sight, nothing gained for our country, higher oil prices, and deaths and deaths and injuries with a crashing housing market.....yea the facts.

haha Bush as Oz is the best way to describe this. Pull away the curtain on the scared little man who led his country into....

and oh off shore drilling will save us all now! whoohoo! tell that to the soldier's families. tell that to those whom are dying because they can't get health care in this great country. One of them is my best friend's father in law. Worked his whole life and is on medicaid and went in last month to check on prostate cancer and they told him "You have third stage lung cancer and six months to live" and sent him home.

Tell that to Oz who is in a country with our men and women for all the wrong reasons.

Berg is not giving up

Pennsylvania's former deputy attorney general and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton supporter Philip J. Berg has filed a lawsuit in federal court in Pennsylvania accusing presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama of lying about his U.S. citizenship, which would make him ineligible to be president.

Mr. Berg is one of a faction of Clinton supporters who haven't heeded the party's call for unity, filing the suit just days before the opening of the Democratic National Convention, which will nominate Mr. Obama as the party's presidential candidate.

The suit, filed in U.S. District Court in Philadelphia last week, also names the Democratic National Committee and the Federal Election Commission and says Mr. Obama´s mother went to Kenya late in her pregnancy and ended up giving birth there. It also claims that later in life, Mr. Obama declared himself a citizen of Indonesia.

PLEASE!

Let's think about this. How could an industry keep the people it wants in power, after 8 years of record profits. Oh I know, lower the prices right before the election, and make it seem like it came from the party they want in power to keep those record profits going.

Look at the history of the price of oil the last 8 years. Tax return from GWB and oil goes up to grab that money. As T Boone Pickens points out, the largest transfer of wealth in the history of the world. Expedited by the oil boys Bush/Cheney.

"Palin, stands up to big oil" Huh? She just got them a natural gas pipeline. How is that standing up?

Let's try this one more time. Only let's use cars for the example as the finite product. There are three Ferrari P3s in the world. Each one is worth about $1.5 million. A fire destroys two, the third is now worth what ever the owner wants to sell it for. Now let's think of oil. We have countries and businesses willing to sell us a product for $100 a barrel, that everyone knows will be worth $200 a barrel in the next ten years. Why should we sell our oil into the world market at $100, when we could buy, hoard, and wait for the $200 price?

Drilling for American oil to sell into world markets or to even reduce the price in 2008 is an insane short sighted policy.
