Mr. Conant, I think my father would have loved your characterization.Bridget Conant wrote:I don’t believe Marx has the savvy to figure out how to get herself her job back. The maneuvering seen here is typical Team Summers politics. It looks like they got her to be the public face of “dissing” Skindell so that Bullock isn’t “connected” to the hatchet job. They have Marx do the dirty work and promise her she’ll be rewarded.
It’s all so Cuyahoga Style.
Donald J. Kindt was Chairman of the Democratic Party Executive Committee in Richland County during the 1960s and 1970s and was influential in Ohio politics for years after that tenure.
He had very distinct opinions (sometimes expressed in vulgar epithets) about how the Democrats did things in Cuyahoga County.
(He passed away on this date six years ago.)
I was reared in Democratic party politics from tender years. I knew a lot of these old Democrats. These were men and women who knew how to sacrifice for their country and their community.
I respect Mr. Summers, Mr. Bullock, and Ms. Marx because they have chosen the path of public service. However, I disagree with their policy choices and decisions.
State Senator Skindell has served his constituents well and has earned my vote in the primary election.
