I am not on Facebook with SL or BL so I am not familiar with what you are referring to. So I guess that puts me in the "not paying attention" category.Ryan Salo wrote:Corey,Corey Rossen wrote:I find it ironic that the very people who are complaining about limiting free speech are the ones who are actually promoting such limits on speech. This is a sure sight of a group trying to stifle the media and residents.
I attended a court hearing this week where a BL supporter, Mayor supporter, and owner of a "news" twitter feed is trying to silence free speech. In fact his attorney is trying to get cleveland.com to release the real name of one of the posters who never even mentioned or said 1 questionable thing about this person. BTW this person wasn't even in the courtroom, shows how much he cares about his case. The judge even asked why he wasn't there... I guess it is easier to be tough online and behind the pen writing postcards than to talk in person....
If you are pro clinic you are likely to get "attacked" if you post on the deck but at least you are allowed to post. The BL facebook pages and most of their supporters delete and block any comments that question their goals.
If you don't see how open one side is to dialog vs the other you are either not paying attention or you just like to spike Jim's blood pressure.
I never singled out Jim to boil blood, I even mentioned that I did not single anyone out. Threads are overlapping now so I am not sure if it was this thread, another one, or another one.
You tell me - is the Deck one-sided? Are people run off here for opposing thoughts? Are certain people immune to laws of the Deck? Is there any validity to the rules of the Deck (note: there should be)?
Really, I am not against the Deck or Jim (or wherever he draws the line on that particular day), I just find all of the one-sided slights, ironies and finger pointing (without self reflection) to be too obvious not to notice.
