What a great event! Would not miss it.
Caterpillars are themed groups that run/walk as a team (e.g. all wearing Star Wars outfits)
Check out The Bay to Breakers site from San Francisco that runs a similar event (with 100,000 runners) every May for ideas. http://www.ingbaytobreakers.com/main.html

Nice event, good turnout, lot of fun, with better weather!!!!!
One of the many pockets of runners pass Summit Ave. on their way to the turn around.
Winner!
Boy was fast, did anyone catch his name?
