Attention all runners, families and Lakewood boosters

The Junior Women’s Club of Lakewood presents:

********The 2nd Annual Great Pumpkin Fun Run & 5K Race********

When: Saturday, October 28**

Starting Point: Lakewood Park (at Lake Avenue & Belle)

Race Times and Entry Fees
7:30 am Race Day Registration
8:30 am 5K Run or Walk $20
9:15 am 1 mile Fun Run $12
(additional fees apply for on-line registration)

Awards for winning times, best costumes and longest caterpillars
* Top overall male and female runners
* Top 3 finishers by gender age bracket
* Best costumes (scary and fairytale categories)
* Fastest and longest caterpillars (5 person minimum)

Proceeds go to benefit the following Lakewood organizations:
Keep Lakewood Beautiful
Lakewood Christian Services
Project H2O

What a great event! Would not miss it.

Caterpillars are themed groups that run/walk as a team (e.g. all wearing Star Wars outfits)

Check out The Bay to Breakers site from San Francisco that runs a similar event (with 100,000 runners) every May for ideas. http://www.ingbaytobreakers.com/main.html
