Keep in mind they do have a entire city of side streets to get to. and the snow is falling very fast. This is just the bricks when living in a lake effect snow area. When the snow gets dumped it gets dumped quick. I am sure the city is doing everything in their power with the resources they have to maintain the roads.Grace O'Malley wrote:No, the street is clear of all vehicles and still no plow or salt.
Truth is in these kind of conditions nobody should be on the road anyway.
Now I did not think that one thru when I had to drive to willoughby for work this Morning and I can assure you that none of the other city's I passed through (or ODOT for that matter) have things any more under control.

Nothin' shakin' on Shakedown Street.
Used to be the heart of town.
Don't tell me this town ain't got no heart.
You just gotta poke around.

I was happy that on our narrow street our neighbors heeded the snow parking ban and found other areas to park their cars. And I am happy that the plows came down our street at least 4 times. The problem I have is that they didn't come anywhere near the curb. So where the cars usually park is still filled with snow and now there is barely enough room to drive down our two way street. It's frustrating and I wish the plows would have done their job, I thought that was the whole point of the parking ban. It's too late to do anything now because the cars are parked there again. Oh well I am glad I have a driveway but I hope I don't clip a mirror trying to get down my street.
