Kate and Bill thanks for posting your research and info.

IMO, this is the kind of music they should play at the Gold's Gym:

Stephen -

Sometimes I forget that I'm a lot older than most on here.

In the 60's they used to have organ music, live, at the roller rinks.

Gives me bad chills just thinking about it.

Since it was a church, it may very well already have an organ in it, so there you go!

Personally, I really liked the bookstore/restaurant concept that was floated a few years ago. And those Christian Science churches usually have really good acoustic and no columns - a great place for concerts.

Bobbie - We're talking about the Giant Eagle Building, but I never really looked at the Christian Science place that way. HMMMM!

Did they not play organ music back in the 60's and 70's at basketball, hockey and baseball games?

Any one else remember the Cleveland Crusaders or the Barons?

I think Bobbie is talking about the Giant Eagle and the Old Christian Science Church at W 117!

Sharon,

What about the fifties music?

Yeah - 50's music - "At the Hop" "Rockin Around the Clock"

Or 70`s "White Rabbit" "Mama Told Me Not To Come"

Steven -

I don't remember those things - those are like sports things, but they used to pipe in 50's music at the old outdoor Winterhurst.

Ah, yes, I was confused. The 117th and Lake church was or is also owned by Giant Eagle, or Rego's - thus my confusion.
