Lakewood Library Seriously Rocks

Post by sharon kinsella »

As a person with mobility issues and someone who doesn't have regular transportation, I want to say that the 2 week delivery cycle for homebound delivery is wonderful.

If anyone on here knew my voracious appetite for books, you'd understand why I think that this personal service to encourage reading for those who can't get to the library regularly is amazing.

(I know, serious run-on sentences, but I'm not feeling well.) Still kudos should be given when they are deserved.

Hi, Sharon. I didn't know they did this. What does two week delivery cycle mean exactly?

Every other Tuesday they deliver and pick up books that are due. It's marvelous.
