Starry Night and Arts Festival Weekend!

What do you mean no dogs allowed? Pssssst. What do you call me?

Two of my favorites events, the Lakewood Arts Festival and Starry Nights, the Lakewood
Hospital fundraiser for Diabetes, and Arts Scholarships.

Before the link I would like to mention that the Arts Festival and much of this weekend
is because of the great work Lucy Sinagra has done for this community. While we all
have to admit that it certainly looks like Tony has gone astray, no one can argue the
great work Lucy, Tony, Chris and the rest of the Sinagra Family have done for the City of Lakewood.

There was a little dark hole in the weekend, and that was the Sinagra family not being there.

You were missed, and are still appreciated by some of us.

"Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone
who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down."

---Oprah Winfrey

I think we all look forward to brighter days, but for now, do you want to take the 55 or the 26?

OK here is the link, more photos and captions coming.

Isn't it time you started your photo blog and help us capture Lakewood's
present and history for the future generations to appreciate.

The best photo, is one that is shared.

Thanks for sharing, Jim!

My son enjoyed listening to Steve Davis share his vision for a city manager in Lakewood but, what your photo below does not highlight, is the look of a father having to listen to a two year old ask passersby how to get to Highland Avenue.

Nothing can touch the contributions made by Lucy Sinagra - and the whole family.
