Yesterday I went to our beautiful library and saw a mess. There were signs stuck in the lawns. About 8 of them were for the Front Porch Concerts and two red ones for LakewoodAlive.
Is this part of the Downtown Beautification project for Mainstreet? Or is it an anti-art installation in cooperation with the other Lakewood Is Art? It looks like the bought the stick in the ground signs from WalMart.
Are they going to get someone to dress up as a furry with a sign in front of the Library? Is LakewoodAlive attempting to turn Lakewood into a retail, cheap looking nightmare?
I want to put up my garage sale sign there too if that's what we're doing. Of course I don't have a garage and have no intention of having a sale, but hey it's a sign garden and I want in on the show.
