I have been told that the agenda for the school board retreat may be modified to include discussion of Ed Favre’s May 17, 2010 letter contained in http://www.lakewoodobserver.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9190.
I have also been told that the agenda for the retreat may be further modified to include discussion of the “Continuous Improvement of the Lakewood City School Athletic Department and Recreation Department Programming” information that was shared with the Board at the May 17, 2010 meeting.
If you are interested in either of the above two items, you may want to be in attendance.
And, if you are planning ahead:
Note that the above notice from Treasurer Berdine is consistent with our two reading requirement set forth in Bylaw 0131.

Will the agenda for this meeting be published before the event? I click on the link (agenda) for this event on the boards web page and all that comes up is the meeting notice.
I would guess that most citizens don't have the entire day to sit in on an open ended meeting just to see what comes up. An agenda with times and topics might be helpful.
My I suggest a topic: COMMUNICATIONS!
Thanks,
Bill

Hey Bill,
If I am not mistaken, the agenda comes out on the Friday before the Board meetings. You can sign up to receive the agenda with the treasurer's office, or go online.

I have been posting them in "announcements."

Instead of everyone getting everything separately, let's just start posting everything!

I emailed Ms. Wagoner in Mr. Madak's office this afternoon and she email me the agenda and it has also be put up on the school's website.
http://www.lakewoodcityschools.org/docs ... 202010.pdf
This must be the public version of the agenda. I find it hard to believe that this is the document that the board members and administration are using to prepare and conduct an 8 hr. meeting. A little light on details.
I wonder if they will be posting an podcast (edited) a couple/eight weeks from now of this retreat?

So how did it go?
Get everything taken care of?
Or was there just scary stories and s'mores?
Just wondering.
