Observer folks, could we just rename this thread to reflect what it really is?
That would be the Mutual Admiration Society Thread.

I'm just twiddling my thumbs, waiting for a good, intelligent argument. None of you are even making an effort anymore. Don't you (collectively) care enough anymore to fight for your side?

Well Roy,
Were I you, I would not be in such a hurry to rise and engage in some conflict of whatever sort.
Some of these issues, and points of view, have been around in one form or another for hundreds of years.
As the Good Book says, there is nothing new under the sun.
From whatever benefit one might have from being my age, I guess I've found that debates seem to come and go; each in their own good time.
It's a lot like cooking, I think.
Sometimes, you need to turn up the heat. Sometimes, you have to put it on the back burner....and sometimes....
...you have to just let things simmer for awhile.
Just remember...
The really good stew takes a long long time to get just right.
Back to to that frying pan-like banjo...
