On our last visit there we noticed a few changes under the new owners - and they weren't all good. Perhaps too many other regulars felt the same way?

We've been satisfying out Italian fix at Pepper's.

I didn't want to say anything negative and get pounced on but I heard that with the new owner it wasn't the same as well. My sister was in out of town and went with my uncle while I was working and they said the new owner was there and incredibly rude to them. She complained about business being slow but was rude to the people who were there. Sorry but there it is.

I was last there a year ago and the food was great but the service not so much. In these times you have to stand out in all areas I am afraid.

Peppers is great, definitely a place everyone should check out.

This kinda makes me sad because I always wanted to try Maria's but never made it. But I will also second (or third, or fourth, whatever number were up to) the notion about Peppers. First went when reading about it in the Lakewood Observer I got during the Arts Fest several years ago. Me and my girlfriend were looking for someplace to eat and it fit the bill, literally. Awesome Place!

Well now i have to try Peppers. I don't know why I never did. Is it more take-out or is there good dining in there? What's best on the menu?

Sit down, get a large pizza and a bottle of wine... It wont break the bank and you will have pizza to take home for dinner the next day. Dine in and take out!!

Thanks Jim! Always looking for good and affordable local food! Some of my favorite lunch places aren't open for dinner so this is on the top of the list for the weekend!

I love Pepper's veal piccata, possibly one of the best I ever had.
