By all accounts, Senator Kennedy may go down in history as one of the best senators, if not the best our country has ever had. He worked tirelessly and across the aisle for Civil rights, woman's rights, worker's rights. He opposed the war in Iraq where thousands have been killed needlessly.

He has championed and won incremental improvements in health care for all.

My son wrote a nice tribute to him.

Very nice Lynn! I think his greatness far far outweighed his mistakes. Championing the rights of those without for decades while he could have sat home and did nothing. Actions speak louder than words and there are so many who complain but never do. He is a hero to many. Thanks for sharing the article!
