In a day that will quickly go down in infamy Mayor Edward FitzGerald stagged a "protest"
though some thought close to a riot against RTA and their announcement of "The circulators
will go!"

Mayor Edward FitzGerald got a good crowd for the quickly formed protest.

Mayor FitzGerald spoke of the needs of the city, and residents, teachers, and others
spoke of how betrayed they felt from RTA who was still taking our $$$$$$.

A $200,000+ Bentley GT 2009 stopped for a couple minutes to show support to the
effort, and then held up a Lakewood Observer for the camera!

Charlie Page tells the newsman from WTAM, "I think the riots were a little worse in
the 60s. But for Lakewood in the 21st Century it was pretty wild." At least that is what
I think he might have said.

I was telling him that despite the liberal influence, Lakewood is a great place to live and raise a family. And also that Nate Kelley is one heck of a landscaper! Maybe you should have been a little closer :)
