Here's what Steve LaTourette had to say about AIG bonuses

follow the list
If you select previous years listed you will see AIG contributions skewing more towards Republicans. In 2000 their top contributions were to George Bush, Rudolph Giuliani, Rick Laslo, and John McCain.
Donations seem largely a matter of political expediency. However, the Democrats donated to are confirmed globalists. Donating Republican helps you build the house of cards. when the house of cards begins to fall, more people vote Democrat, so you need to give them more money. not that there are significant differences between most members of either party most of the time.

Yeah, I guess that's what happened when Republicans took over in 94.

ok
1994 donations by AIG were about 1/3 of their 2008 donations. The top individual donation was to a republican. The democrats in in the top 1994 donations were from the east coast or texas.
1994 was the run up to 1995. 1995 was when the World Trade Organization was formally created and joined by the United States. I am guessing the remaining democrats in congress required more corrupting at that time. lobbying donations from insurance companies are generally politically neutral or not usually in the news. most of the headline news items about lobbying concern alcohol, military contractors, pharmaceuticals, guns, gun clubs, tobacco, gays, abortion, and televangelists.
As i've said, the mainstream democrats and republicans are essentially alike most of the time.
