the big three have to sell their corporate jets to get bailouts.
They didn't have the entrenched army of lobbyists and insiders the finance sector had. too many midwestern engineering school grads and not enough east coast school fraternity alumni.
They say a Corporate Jet loses 10 percent of its resale value the first time you fly it off the lot.
Who is there to sell a corporate jet to?
the top corporate guys will have to go back to Propeller Planes.
no more corporate jets

There's always the collateral damage though.
I have a friend who's family will probably not be having as nice a Christmas, because he HAD BEEN a mechanic for a corporate jet.
This is one argument that Republicans are right about. Wealth does indeed get spread around. For every rich guy wanting to fly, hundreds of people need to be employed to get him up into to the sky, and to bring him back down safely.

My high school physics professor flew a small single engine craft. they're like go-karts in the sky. It was much smaller than a Cessna 404. Faster than driving though. you could probably fit a coffee pot and microwave oven on a Cessna 404.
