Ok that was bad. It really is frightening that she could possibly end up a heartbeat away from the presidency. She does not come off as an intelligent person. I don't see how anyone that watched that could possibly consider voting for McCain with her on the ticket.

that is a quality that worked for G.W.Bush.

Alaska is adjacent to the wild frontier of Canada. Not the nice part of Canada. The part with all the cowboys and indians.

We’ve got to look at that as more opportunity. All of those things under the umbrella of job creation.

If anybody can make any coherent sense out of either of those rambling monologues, I've got $5 for you.

It's like she's got a Presidential Talking Points Magnetic Poetry set and is just jumbling the words around. It's like VP Mad-Libs.

Not for the Republicans, "New star of the Republican Party," "A fresh face that has to be considered seriously in the 2012 presidential election," "Is the person that has save the Republican party and given John McCain a chance."

Three quotes of hundreds that could be found from Republicans on how good and how presidential Palin is.

Of course, they also thought GWB should be carved into Mt. Rushmore.

"My favorite was, "Passport, I was not one of those rich girls, whose parents bought them a back pack and tickets to travel the world. I had to work two job my whole life. well up till I had children." That would mean not for the last 20 years. Or roughly 1/4 of her life as we have to believe she was not working two jobs between the ages of 0-15.

We had one president that lied, Slick Willy. Now we have one that cannot tell the truth. We do not need another.

I'm really confused by some of the ramblings, what she says seems to have little to do with the questions that were asked.

Watching her is like watching a movie or a tv program where the character is saying or doing something so stupid that you feel so embarrassed for them that you look away. I really do have sympathy for her because she is clearly not up to the task of talking to the media. I was reading some comments about how Katie Couric handled the interview and some people were upset that she seemed to be tough on Sarah Palin and that that wasn't fair, well those kinds of comments are just asinine. If this woman can't handle speaking to the media how could she possibly be ready to be vice president. I just don't see how anyone who has seen her interviewed can feel that she is qualified to be vice-president when she can barely string a coherent sentence together.

I'm guessing she's done a reasonably competent job of whatever a governor in Alaska is supposed to do. Now she is just in over her head.

Alaska isn't like a normal state. Its got massive amounts of federal and oil money coming in, lots of wilderness, and great barriers to entry in terms of distance and climate. Alaska has had benefits other states haven't had, without many of the opportunities for problems that other states have had.
