Not sure if this has been discussed before.

I know it sounds really cool. I do not know when we the avarge people will see that kind of killer speed. The big telcos are already against large infrastructure up grades and man is that a big one. The only thing I know is that the LHC is going to be the end of us all ;-)

data transmitting and processing and storage that powerful would.....obsolete intellectual property rights.

I guess that is ok. most of the good stuff has already been written. we'll have to rely on fanfiction for the future. I like the robotech fanfiction. Then we'll get fanacting: folks will attach a few sensors to their skin and have their actions reproduced by digital replicas of their favorite tv characters. everyone will be trying to be Magnum PI in fanfiction virtual reality shows. All the girls will be trying to be....Pamela Anderson, or Dr.Quin:Medicine Woman.

the internet allows me to look up inspirational television clips from the past.

Here you can see Hulk Hogan and Mr.T training for a show down with Roddy Piper and Paul Orndoff.

This would never have made it onto vhs tapes for sale at retail. Now future generations can benefit from the past.
