the expectation is that a fact will be found to underlie a claim. Furthermore, the fact will be derived from some sort of sound research. So, as you put it, accuracy and verification, will follow from a review of the research.

However, in 7 of 14 points, you've referenced each to transcripts from CNN that contain only claims, and do not source said claims.

The reference to (Jeff) Rense is simply ridiculous on its face. He's not a researcher and there isn't any research on his web site, but here we find the source of your post.

I don't know what your background is and how standards of factuality and verification figure into it, but, your attempt to convince people by deploying claims posed (by you) as facts, strikes me as missing any reasonable 'rational' target completely.

In other words, it's not a credible argument until you actually back up heated claims with cold facts and sound research.

You don't have to be a scientist or grad student, but you might anticipate a smart high school grad would dig into the dirt of your post to find out if facts actually are buried somewhere.

And does the illegal wage argument even TOUCH the people HIRING the illegals? That is the real problem. If an employer doesnt want to pay a legal citizen a living wage, they hire illegals to pay them less and give no benefits. American wages are suppressed by those hiring those illegal immigrants, not the illegals themselves.


And the non white crime stat? Wow, just wow. Also, if someone's dad was a dead beat and ended up in jail, his children are going to automatically be criminals as well?

Ok lets say you can use numbers and facts to make a case for a hard line approach to illegal immigration.

As I am sure most illegals do not participate in or census or public polls of any kind. How can we be sure the numbers we are giving represent the fact. I just don't see how anybody can come up with reliable trustworthy numbers giving the fear of putting themselves in the public eye in the illegal community.
