Missing Child
Our granddaughter has been missing since July 8, 2007. The media is not interested and the Cleveland Police I guess don't consider this a high priority since she is considered a runaway.
She is 14 years old and has been sighted near W 85th and possibly near W 73rd & Lawn Ave. Any help would be appreciated. Here is a website with her picture and contact information.

She is still floating around the westside. Please forward this to anyone you may know on the near westside of Cleveland. She's been seen from W 83rd & Detroit all the way up to Storer Ave.
See website for picture and contact information if you see her.

Linda, would this seem like a possibility to consider hiring a private investigator? Perhaps there could be a fund put together to offset the expense. I would donate to the cause, because the longer she is out on the street at that age, the more danger she is in, even if she thinks she's being a rebel --and in control, she's most certainly not. I think others here would also help. Just a suggestion.

looking back at my made calls in my cellphone...
I was driving down Clifton on August 4th at 11:35PM and noticed that a younger girl was standing on the corner of St.Charles and Clifton and looked to be hitch hiking or waiting for a bus (there is a stop one street over on Warren).
I vaguely remember what the girl looked like but the photo looks close...like I said I drove by and it was 11:35PM at night.
I called the non-emergency phone number of Lakewood Police and told them to drive by there because I was aware of a missing child in Lakewood and I figured I better report it because you just never know. I remembered hearing and reading the description and seeing a photo of the missing girl, and remember thinking that the girl I saw and the description were pretty close.
whether it's the same missing girl or not I don't know..I can't recall the name.
I never heard back and I didn't hear anything on the scanner that night..since I was on my way home.
