JARED POTTER KIRTLAND

The Lakewood Historical Society's Mazie Adams considers the life of Western Reserve University's Medical School co-founder Jared Potter Kirtland and recounts his career as naturalist, horticulturist, Civil War surgeon and prison reform advocate. She'll also spotlight his Lakewood estate, Whippporwill, famed for it's extensive gardens and orchards.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 16 AT 7:00 PM AT THE WOMEN'S PAVILION IN LAKEWOOD PARK.
