LO_21_02 On The Streets - Schools Ask For Help, Parents Ask For Transparency

It would seem that this season we find ourselves in yet another civil war, this one with the schools yet again. One group claims we need something and elected officials seem to be less than forthcoming and honest in their discussions. about it. Sound familiar? Of course it does, it happens in this town every couple years, as a very small group of small thinkers come back to see what they can grab, and benefit from personally.

This has been the hallmark of most committees, studies and elected official secrecy over the past 40 years!

As always we present both sides, well, all sides of the debates. Because while they talk about schools, I personally think it underlines what happens with mediocre, underwhelming management at the highest level. After all, they got every dollar they told us they desperately needed. Their product is underwhelming to say the least.

The 50-year-committee becomes the largest failure since BuildLakewood assured us we were going to get sooo rich closing the hospital for $1.00.
Yes, that is basically what they said, many, many many times.

What is interesting is that the same people are involved in both debacles. Many profiting from our losses.

But I digress, you can pick up the latest Observer at over 100 locations around town, and or download one here:
