Councilman Jason Shachner Will Be Stepping Down

Word has come to us that Councilman Jason Shachner will be stepping down from his Ward 2 Council seat to accept a position with the City of Cleveland as Assistant Safety Director.

We wish Jason the best in his new position, and hope the family stay in Lakewood.

As Jason was only half way through his term, there will be a special election in the fall for the seat.

Lakewood Council has up to 60 days to announce and interim council member.
