Here is Lakewood Observer Volume 19, Issue 10. It has good news, information, updates on schools, library, city hall, the city and sadly the passing of one of Lakewood’s hardest workers, Patty Ryan.

Once again for nearly the 400th time, residents, officials, non-profits, for-profits, clubs, and more have taken the time to share their stories with fellow Lakewoodites. This has been an amazing ride as people put the community before themselves and take a few minutes to write or photograph the daily celebration of life in Lakewood.

Please take the time to stop by one of the one-hundred plus establishments that offer our printed version for free. Pick one, and thank the owner for their commitment to free speech, cataloging Lakewood’s history, and helping to keep all of us informed.

Then sit down and think of the photos or stories you would like to share with your fellow residents. The Lakewood Observer has kept true to our original concept of welcoming it all. If you take the time to share, we promise that it will appear in print and/or online in our ever growing historical archive of the city we call home.

To Patty Ryan’s friends and family, she is already missed and was loved, you know that. Godspeed, Patty.

To everyone, enjoy and celebrate life, and send in those stories and photos.

Stop by and pick up the Lakewood Observer, or you can download the digital version here:
