Lakewood Survives The Super Storm

Vickie with kids Harry and Hazel hit the slopes at Kauffman Park.

Most others were digging out.

Let me assure you, I cleared the walk before leaving the house.

As you will see, most streets had one pass. This truck was cleaning up corners.

Image
Here city crews left a 5' pile of ice in the middle of the sidewalk. I am sure they will come back and clear it.

Image
In a city that brags about being a walkable community so many people block the sidewalks, it makes no sense.

Biggest pile I found.

A large buck.

The Emerald Canyon's road surface is always clean thanks to Metro Parks.

As I pulled into the driveway, a couple of very colorful robins sat in a tree.

A sure sign of spring, except robins sat in the area year round.

Stay safe.
