Christmas Fire On Wyandotte Ave.

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Around 10am Lakewood Police and Fire recieved of a call on visible flames coming from a house on Wynadotte Ave.

If the video does not show up here is a link to it. It shows how bad the fire was.

You can hear police and fire responding in this video sent in from Denny Petkovsek.

They quickly arrived with more companies coming from Rocky River and Fairview Park.

House cleared of people while they attended to putting out the fires, then the pets.

I am sad to report that they lost a sun conure, a king snake, multiple fish and tarantulas in the fire.

In a week that saw our safety forces stretched and tested they responded like the rock starts they are.

Thank you and Merry Christmas to Lakewood Fire and Police, job well done.
