If you were on Madison today and wondered about all the police and long guns.
A call went out around 12:30pm today for a domestic fight between a man and a woman on Richland directly across from the High School Football Field.
The woman had called had called.
A second call went out that the man had a gun. Followed by a second call from the woman's mother who said he was running around the apartment waving a gun.
About 5 minutes later a call came in that the woman had escaped from the building, and that the male might have left in a black 2014 KIA Sprtage SUV with his grandfather. It went south on Bunts and out of the city. It was observed on camera, and plate was run and came back to a male on West 178th Street in Cleveland.
Police were ready for any trouble.
The female had some contusions to her forehead and was checked out.
Nothing to see move along.
