With cases rising, and a new more virulent strain sweeping through the country, and Ohio, Administrators walk away from science and turn to hope.

Just so we all understand. The USA and non-Chinese scientists have studied this virus for just about 1 year. They still know very little about it.

But what is emerging is that even asymptomatic people suffer damage. The damage appears to be limited to heart, lungs, brain, veins and arteries and organs like kidneys.

30% of all athletes at Ohio State that tested positive for COVID have shown long term damage. 30% of the fit, young, healthy and diverse group of teens are showing long term damage from the virus.

So one of the largest epicenters of COVID in the most densely populated city in Ohio plan to battle COVID is, Give bars/restaurants more space for serving, and is now countered by the Lakewood School Board with opening the schools.

You want some fun, ask your council person when they can expect the vaccine. When has City Council arranged with the county or the State to get Lakewood immunized. You will hear nothing but crickets, because residents still mean very little to our City Council. We stand no chance.

Here is a fact for City Council, the School Board and those that are interested. Lakewood's density one of our strengths and the perfect petri-dish for new businesses also makes us the perfect petri-dish and host for spreading a virus.

The saying is practice safe distances 6' well with a 70% more virulent virus that becomes 10'. The average distances between homes in Lakewood is 20', which means talking to you neighbor from your driveway probably puts you in the zone. Likewise everywhere we go, 6' becomes 10'. What many of us have learned is that spread from objects is rare. that too will disappear.

There is one way to kill of a virus, do not give it a place to grow and mutate. England gets it, and is shutting down for as much as a month and a half. Total shutdown, hospital, food stores, pharmacies and your home. Because they have the most virulent strain, and it is the only proven way to slow or stop viruses.
