Nice read, but you have seen enough.
Half the city wants a nice safe city, the other half want a nice wealthy (read in what you want) community.
This has been a constant from that group since the West End Stripmall dream back in the 90s.
Basic concept was, get rid of affordable housing, and cut down on drive time to Cheesecake Factory. I wish I was lying.
They wanted the school that served the marginalized population the best and most shut-down, for a larger strip mall. I wish I was lying.
They destroyed Lakewood's finest and most valuable asset for a multi-use strip mall, and money to party with. God I wish I was lying.
Why would they care about fair housing, except the logo on rental property they own elsewhere?
