Here is video of Sam the Sham being called out at a Council Meeting.
Please note his measured response...he does not flatly deny the allegation, he says "I don't believe that that's accurate whatsoever".
For the record, I do not agree with the speaker's position on retractable leashes. However, she is entitled to respect from her elected officials.
This allegation fits the broader pattern of Team Summers behavior. They consistently belittle or demean dissidents with terms like "overemotional" or "nasty".
In addition, Sam's penchant for lying has become legendary.

If there is a recording, I'd very much like for it to be produced. Maybe we can keep the individual's name out of it, but it it exists it might well end O'Leary's chances at becoming mayor this cycle. Without it, this is "hearsay" in TV lawyer speak.
Faye Olson's campaign has led me to the position that extendable leashes have no place in municipal law, and that part of the ordinance should be repealed. I have a strong dislike of extendable leashes, and I had to sign an adoption contract that prohibits me from using them on my dogs, which I didn't want to do anyway. But I think others like Faye should have the choice to do so. Meanwhile, more adoption shelters and groups should also have a contract like the one I had to sign. Maybe it's an okay thing to ban them in the parks, where there are many people and many dogs, but otherwise this kind of ban has no place in municipal law, and might well be overturned if challenged in courts.

Is this about Democrats liberal's insistent that you must respect your elected officials? She has ever right under the Constitution to express her thoughts. I've been there and respected every citizen's right to demean, criticize and insult any and all elected officials. You don't earn respect by being elected, any arse can run on the barking dog platform, you earn respect by earning it for what you do for the people that elected you.
I don't expect anything to change in the City of Lakewood, it will continue as Democrat's socialist government that will be run by those that are appointed and not elected. I'll bet not many of the appointed positions will be changed by the new lackey mayor because she will be overwhelmed by her ignorance of the complexity of a city. She does not even know the three types of bonds available and how they affect a City financially.
Nothing will change in a Democrat managed city except the blaming directed by the Democrats delusional that it was a closet Republican that ruined health care for 55,000 people while a Democrat council that held power approved it.
The City of Lakewood is a typical Democrat liberal joke, provide duplicate services, support the elevation of salary and benefits to city staff that the majority are none residents to prove that you care and raise taxes to the point any recession will devastate the liberal dreams of utopia.
