Drive By A Fire Station - Give - Ring The Bell

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

Josh Erdani, Matt Kopack and Dave Dunne collecting for MDS in front of Fire Station 1 on Madison Ave. The kids love to ring the old Fire Station Bell.

That's right it is the weekend that all of Lakewood's Fire department have a boot out collecting money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Fire fighters and first responders all over the country hit the streets collection for MDA. But in Lakewood at Station 1, drive by and put something in the boot and ring the bell! "Kids love to ring the bell." said Fire Inspector Tim Dunphy. To make it extra easier for everyone they have a rop that can reach all the way to your car window if you do not want to get out to ring the bell!

Lakewood Fire Fighters, you never stop Lakewoodites from being proud of all of your actions at work.

THANK YOU.

Jim, you take a lot of great, technically "wow" pictures, but for some reason this one stopped me cold. It's wonderful. Please don't tell me you posed them.

Dan

I didn't even take the photo. Photo was sent to me by one of the firefighters.
