Rodriguez for Ward 1

To the Editor:
I am darned proud to serve as Treasurer for Laura Rodriguez Carbone's campaign for Lakewood's Ward One Council seat. We have an opportunity to elect a uniquely qualified candidate in Laura. I tell you this from long experience.
My family moved to Lakewood when Interstate 90 was being built. I went to Hayes Elementary, Harding Junior High, and am a proud graduate of Lakewood High School. I have five decades of participation in Lakewood politics and am one of the co-founders of the Lakewood Democratic Club.
It is with this background that I think that the near future of Lakewood requires the very best in our elected officials. Take some time and visit Laura's website. Read her biography and examine her work experience. I think you'll be impressed and make her your choice for the Ward 1 Council Seat.
