Every 4th Of July... Empty Nesters
Every year without fail, by July 4th all the Bald Eaglets learn to fly, and leave the nest. It doesn't seem to matter when they are born. Avon Lake Eaglets 3 were born nearly a month before the Emerald Canyon eaglets. All three of them fledged last week. This week the Emerald Canyon bald eaglets stopped hopping and started flying leaving the proverbial Empty Nest...
So we have another 6 eagles in the area.
