UPDATED_Man Arrested In Lakewood Sought For Triple Murder in Florida

25-year-old Shelby Svensen wad arrested on Newman Avenue during a routine vehicle check was taken into custody for driving a stolen, 2013 Kia Sorrento.

The vehicle was traced backed to a missing vehicle report as part of a triple murder in Tarpon Springs Florida on January 1. The three adults were found lying on the floor of their home a 55 and older community just outside of Tarpon Springs. Also three dogs were found dead inside. The bodies were discovered during a routine welfare check. The murdered adults have not been identified.

UPDATED - Victims were 71-year-old Richard Louis Ivancic, 59-year-old Laura Ann Ivancic and 25-year-old Nicholas James Ivancic. Svensen's wife, who is Richard and Laura Ann Ivancic's daughter, is now missing. Twenty-one-year-old Jamie Nicole Ivancic is considered "endangered" and missing under "suspicious circumstances."

Svenson, who also goes by the name Shelby Nealy was charged with receiving stolen property and domestic violence. His children age s 2 and 3 were place with Family Welfare Services.

Police on on their way from Florida to question the man.

NEWS RELEASE
January 4, 2019
On January 3rd, 2019 the Lakewood Police Department received information from the Tarpon Springs Florida Police Department that a suspect from a triple homicide in their city might be in Lakewood. Information was further developed from our Automated License Plate Readers that a vehicle stolen in relation to their crime had been recorded in Lakewood. Further investigation by the Lakewood Police Department resulted in locating the vehicle at 1573 Newman Ave. in Lakewood .

. Surveillance was established by the Lakewood Police Department. Further information was developed that the suspects two children, 3 and 2 years old, were in the home with him. With the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force, the FBI's Northern Ohio Law Enforcement Task Force, and the Westshore Enforcement Bureau SWAT team, surveillance continued until 730PM when the suspect exited the home and was taken into custody without incident. His two children were transported, uninjured, to Cuyahoga County Children and Family Services.

Taken into custody for Receiving Stolen Property and a Domestic Violence warrant from the Broadview Heights Police Department was Shelby Svensen, 25 years old.
Investigators from the Tarpon Springs Police Department will be in Lakewood today in furtherance of their investigation. No court dates have been set for Svensen at this time.

The Tarpon Springs Police Department will be holding a news conference at their facility at 2:00PM.
