In this issue we take a look at two power house of the restaurant industry in Foodwood, errrr Lakewood, Ohio. Matt Fish invites us in to look at the new Melt which was being hurried to be ready to be opened Friday. And a Lakewoodite finally hits us up for a good lunch bill of $64.00 and review lunch at Pier W, one of Lakewood's best kept secrets for lunch.

Mike reviews Pier W, and sends in the bill. We print it and pick up the tab. Isn't it time you sent in a review?

Then we go and look around the new Melt and talk with Matt Fish, part of Cleveland Restaurant Royalty, about his life and the new place and why. This simple reviews speaks volumes about the man, and how he feels about Lakewood, Ohio where it all began.

The east room, and the original Melt. When he fitrst acquired the space from Bud's White Door Saloon. Which had been the oldest continually operating beer license in Lakewood. Yes that is the Detroit Theater Sign above the window.

We also get the lowdown on everything from various parties and functions around town, to a recap of the latest LakewoodAlive "Know Your Home" Seminar if you missed it.

Many thanks to all of the advertisers that are really stepping it up this spring, and giving us lots of ideas on making this project bigger and better, along with the funding. The LO Staff, like nothing else in this community, over a decade working together to get your news and opinions out for the rest of the community to read.

Our promise to all of you, this will be a summer that you will never forget, and we will win you over, and get you to join, the most positive, fun group in Lakewood, Ohio.

peace/love
