Lakewood just got safer for children

Yesterday, Thomas Gilman made a plea deal which will put him behind bars for at least 14 years, but no longer than 28. While I disagree with the sentence, the victims' family agreed with those terms to spare their children the agony of having to testify in court.

I am still pissed that a child predator was released on a personal bail when arrested in June. We all know this is because of his political connections. And, while I do feel sorry for Gilman's family, I have no sympathy whatsoever for this monster. Not only did he rape an 8 year old for 3 years, he also raped that boy's 3 year old brother. I want you all to think of that for a moment . . . a 3 year old. . .
