LHS History Club Presentation on WW II Today

Post by Christine Gordillo »

From LHS History Club adviser Dr. Chuck Greanoff:

You are cordially invited to our next Lakewood High School History Club program. On Sunday, December 3rd, 7:00 pm at the Lakewood Pubic Library Auditorium, LHS sophomore Adele Daniels and Dr. G will present "Lakewood in World War II, The Story of Many."

While we will explore the magnitude of commitment and sacrifice Lakewood citizens, our primary focus will be on two soldiers, one from the Pacific and one from the European theatre. Lakewoodites played a large role in this war.

The LHS History Club aspires to engage students, staff and citizens of Lakewood in dialogue about the history of our town, region, nation and world. All presentations are created and delivered collaboratively by teachers and students. President Faiza Manaa and the entire club hope to see you there. Thank you!
