You Can Say Yes to Hate, But Only Sincere Love Can Heal Lakewood's Soul

Post by Brian Essi »

Truth, Love and Healing go hand in hand--Love without Truth is simply compromise and sentimentality. Truth cannot be compromised or ignored to heal.

"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good."
Romans 12:9

Success in a political campaign has brought glory, hero status and rewards to those in the victor's camp.

However, less than 50% of Lakewood voters who turned out to vote last November voted for the winning camp's perverse plan.

So, as the battle over Lakewood's heart and soul rages on--"hating" evil and exposing the works of darkness are proper and just, but only the first steps in healing.

It is time for our elected leaders to come clean and embrace the Truth about their actions and the reality they have created by working in darkness and turning their backs on half of Lakewood.

It starts with three words spoken by each of the elected officials: "I am sorry"

And it needs to be sincere and it is the only way for them to show Lakewood their love.
