“If you’re not outraged you’re not paying attention.” Heather Heyer

How can we pull this City Together?

Well, since 2004, there has been one place in the City of Lakewood where all views are welcomed, all stories see the light of day, and all sides on every issue come together in the very same civic discourse that democracy was built on. I have heard many people who have attacked the Observer Project say, "How can we heal this city?" Step into the light of day at the LO and let's talk about it. Everyone, with very few exceptions, has a seat at the table to vet your ideas, complaints, suggestions, whatever. All you have to do is be willing to allow others to do the same.

Easy, simple, honest, democratic. Celebrating Lakewood together since day one.

Thanks to all the writers, editors, photographers and sponsors that made it happen.
It was nice to see a couple articles in there from the Dog Park folks....they are awesome.
The annual Dog Swim fundraiser is fast approaching.....it's a lot of fun for canines and their humans.

Don't forget...some dog breeds are still not allowed at this event. :(

Since we're together we might as well say:
Would you be mine? Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?"
