LHS Academic Challenge Team Earns 5th Place at Nationals

Congratulations to our LHS Academic Challenge team on its outstanding performance in the National Academic Championship tournament in Chicago! The varsity team finished 6-2 and in a tie for fifth place overall while the JV team finished 3-3. The varsity team bowed out of the tournament in the playoff round when it lost a tight match to a team from Detroit. Great work by all the tournament participants and many thanks to advisers Peter Petto and Bob Sedlak.
