The Variety Theater

Great article in today's Plain Dealer, "Art & Living", referring to the restoration of the Varity Theater. The community, council women Dona Brady and "American Pickers" star, Mike Wolfe came together to mark the Variety Theater as the recipient of the national award, "This Place Matters". A great vision and a great effort by all who participated, along with the National Trust for Historic Preservation. A successful attempt to save what matters most, as far as preserving goes. Lakewood's leaders are obviously blind. Too bad, so sad.
