Bob Evans NOT Closing All Restaurants... Read On

Matt Markling, Bob Evans first customer!

Bob Evans closing all stores, is how many read it, including us. It would seem the part that tripped many up was Bob Evans selling off restaurants, locations, Bob Evans have decided to split all their restaurants and focus on their frozen food business. was this, "That will leave the packaged food business as the sole business under the publicly traded banner of Bob Evans Farms Inc. (NASDAQ:BOBE) when the deal closes in April." Which sounds like the brand will close

It seems that just a couple years ago, there was an uproar as I wrote "The Devil Is In The Details"

Well they should close all restaurants, It doesn't surprise me, I've voiced my opinion months ago about how "Bob Evans" "Down on the Farm" is a fraud, fresh from our farm to your table, bull shit. everything processed, delivered in plastic containers, reheated and served at ridiculous prices, what goodness? nothing is made from scratch, eggs maybe, toast, coffee, salad, nothing is served really fresh, "down on the farm", my ass.

I got a burger there last week, only because I had a "free" voucher from my last complaint, the burger was worse than McDonalds, and I wont eat there, bland, dry, tasteless, I thought I was eating cardboard. good riddance. without the voucher, it would have cost $5.99, beer engine, here I come.

Joe's Deli, Madison near W 117th, I got a Ruben, corned beef, sauerkraut, cheese on grilled rye bread, $11.00. I thought I was at Symons, hugh, delicious, hot tender corned beef, piled really high, I could only eat half, fabulous, I understand they are under new management, owner, but it was great, one of the best I've had on the west side. I was shy at first, thinking, a west side deli serving a really good corned beef sandwich? You wont be disappointed. 10 stars.
