Cindy Marx Endorses Dem Club Leadership

Post by Michael Deneen »

I attended the Gabby Giffords Clinton campaign event on Saturday.
You can see the photo gallery at http://www.lakewoodobserver.com/photobl ... or-hillary

Cindy Marx attended, so I asked her opinion of the recent member purge at the Lakewood Democratic Club.
Her direct response was "Karolyn Isenhart is a phenomenal club president".

When I repeated the question "Do you support the purge of members?", she replied "I didn't say that".
She went on to say numerous negative things about Tristan Rader, and a few about Charles Milsaps.

When I again asked "Do you support the purge?", she had the same response.

We spoke for a few minutes about the Club and the Hospital.
She eventually put a finger in my face and labelled me a "bully".
I never raised my voice or did anything bad.

She also repeatedly said "Metro is not coming here"....even though I never mentioned Metro once.
She made a huge fuss about the fact that she contacted Metro three times and they never responded to her.

I posted the "purge question" on the Lakewood Democratic Club Facebook page, and none of the Council members responded.
Dan O'Malley has already responded here on the Deck.

David Anderson is not on Facebook, but has participated here, I hope he answers the following:

1. Do you approve of purging members? Not just so-called Republicans, but a DNC Convention delegate.
2. If the current Dem Club leadership runs for re-election, do you intend to vote for them?

3. As a dues-paying member, I wonder why our club web site has been offline for nearly two weeks, during a general election campaign.
