Todd Is Correct...

All the people that buy into the evil mayor just wants money for himself hypothesis are already on your side. True or false, that narrative doesn't play among the common people. The mayor's long history of positive contribution in this city and ability to connect with people make that avenue a dead end for you.

Stick to the hard facts on why the deal is bad.

There is already the troubling aspects that 90% of what we now know about the Hospital deal came through Observations here.

However, the facts cannot be disputed. Someone needs to line them up. I give Dan Alaimo credit for trying to go through posts for facts, in the new "White Lightening" section of the Deck. http://lakewoodobserver.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=154

This is going to approach us fast enough, let's stop mucking about!

While I would generally agree, I think it is crucial now, more than ever, to expose Summers for evidently neglecting almost every aspect of his job. While it is important to continue fact-finding about the hospital and uncovering more, I also feel that people need to see the evident neglect of this city by Summers. For example, if he can't even do his job of ensuring that grass is cut and garbage is not lying around everywhere, do we really want to trust him with our healthcare and future? Yes, it is his job to ensure grass is cut and garbage is not lying around. That is not my opinion. It is the law, as will be exposed in a post coming soon.

How much long grass and garbage do you think Summers' sees on a daily basis? If I can see it as a private citizen, what is wrong with him? It's a simple phone call or two to resolve it.

Also, do we really want to trust him with our healthcare and future when it appears that he and/or members of his company are taking away homes from citizens, many of whom are elderly, terminally ill, or are racial minorities without giving them due process, a chance to fix any alleged issues, or a day in court? No, it appears to be "you're house is a nuisance, get out so we can bring in the bulldozers". That doesn't seem constitutional.

It is more important now than ever to continue exposing Summers and others in his company for what they are doing, regardless if it relates to the hospital, housing, or simple things like grass and garbage. The more distrust that can be evoked in more people, the better.

I completely agree and love the organization of the information. It is possible to also organize the first hand documentation that supports this information? I know that would be a huge task but it's hard to deny what is said here when there are documents to back it up.

The very real problem is that nearly all of what you know, came from the lawsuits, and there is more coming.

I believe less than 15% of what has been asked for has been delivered. Some of the requests going back nearly a year. I know there is at least one lawsuit just to get documents that the community is allowed to see and have.

Think about it, for every 20 pages of information needed to understand the deal, only 3 have been produced. It is like understanding Catcher on the Rye by reading 3 pages at random.

This is why Kevin Butler, Mayor Summers have got to stop fighting the residents, and produce the documents.

Otherwise I know I cannot support anything buy voting against 64.

WE DESERVE TO UNDERSTAND HOW THIS HAPPENED AND WHY.
