LakewoodAlive's Knowing Your Home Masonry Basics Workshop this Thursday

LakewoodAlive is partnering with 1st Choice Roofing Company, Cleveland, Ohio and Nehls Masonry L.L.C to provide a basic understanding of masonry maintenance and repairs. Participants will have an opportunity learn the basics of tuckpointing, pointing and repointing your masonry bricks and block in foundations and chimneys. Frank of Nehls Masonry has been in the business for a long time and has seen it all. He is prepared to provide hands-on demonstrations as well as helpful tips and tricks to get a job well done. Frank will also provide insight in how to determine if a job is a “do-self” job or if it is best to have it contracted out.

Knowing Your Home is a free educational series focused on best sustainability and home maintenance practices empowering residents to tackle necessary repairs and improvements.
